Makeup is for hiding the imperfections, I like to be real, so I won’t do it….. that is what I used to think.
May be that was the excuse for not putting that effort and being in mid age the imperfections are now such that the face can be compared to moons crators, so compelled to try some I guess.
Once tried, it was fun, I used to paint when young, and this blending of base, blush, and highlighters was very similar to it and its really enjoyable. Now doing it to the level that it doesnot look white washed or on the face is the trick. That means now see plethora of influeners who have tips for each of the elements and buying and testing a lot of products.
Considering it as an enhancer than something which to be used to hide behind is the approach.
Is it vanity? Bruh what’s a lady without some sazz!!!
