Komorebi

This is Japanese word for sunlight filtering through leaves. It brings out the beauty and wonder of rays filtering through overhead leaves, casting dancing shadows and light on the floor. Quite romantic at that.

The concept of Komorebi reminds us to look for positivity in little things, and it is supposed to help with doubt and anxiety, as Japanese philosophy says.

While walking in early mornings, it’s a habit to look up, and thus, I keep clicking pictures of things overhead and morning hours. The sunlight is best to capture nature, too. This has led to a lot of pictures in the gallery with the tag #lookingup.

These #lookingup pictures are later sources of small glints of inspiration in times of my own dark. As these pictures are browsed, it gives encouragement to look up from where ever I am then. It’s just another way of perking up.

My phone gallery is filled with these pictures, and the morning walks sometimes become stroll and / or even snail walk because I find komorebi somewhere and lo …. It’s different angles need a befitting capture. Otherwise, what a waste of show put up by nature. End of such walks, my gallery is filled with green delights sprinkled with soft rays of sun. These represent immense happiness for me, and doing these crawls through streets gives me immense joy either in my neighbourhood or whenever I am travelling, and I would look into finding a nearest park to just stroll.

Here are some of it here
