Place : Suta Store, Indiranagar, Blr

Event Specifics: Divya and Aanchal of https://www.instagram.com/mehfil.e_ishq/ were bringing the famous sufi, qawwali, and sufi-infused Bollywood to a very involved audience in the city's heart. Well, the most buzzing street of the most famous suburbs of Bangalore, Indiranagar.

The seating was perfect, all the audience was on the gaddas(floor cushions) on the floor, the ideal way to enjoy this kind of music, otherwise where would tap your appreciative fingers, other than your thigh, which makes this kind of music more appreciative. We got to stand for a while, as the place was already buzzing with many Sufi lovers, as we entered late, because of location mixup.

Aanchal with her husky voice had been enchanting the audience and Divya was adding her bit to all the beloved songs sung together. Not very appreciative of Hindi poetry, mainly because of the language barrier to understanding poetry when recited. So when Divya was reciting I couldn't get it, may be should record and get back to it, as lyrics understanding is needed in my case. But could see that Hindi speakers were able to get the poetry that she was adding in between. All in all a great listening experience, although the store with its vibrant sarees was pulling me to try some of the wares.

It was a great time spent with a dear friend.
