Empty Nest Series — 7 — Ultimate happiness

Did I experience that today, I guess so! Because today's experience at the college welcome party was one such I assume. As we entered the hall where we parents were expected, on the steps to the hallway, seniors were cheering for us. Cheering for what? I didn't do anything to get here, It was all your efforts that made me walk those steps. Was that pride that made me well up and sob. I am not sure. Could be.

Pride it was for sure. Was it pride that you would be exposed to this great stimulating environment which was filled with the most enthusiastic individuals? More than expertise which they were exuding, it was ever learning attitude which was what I could see with a couple of them, who interacted with us, and some of them who presented the welcome speeches on the stage. I am so happy that you would have such inspiring individuals who would guide you in your forward journey.

I am so happy that you are in the middle of all the actions of an ever-buzzing city with its endless energy. I have heard people referring to New York life as being on a Ferris wheel ride. I am sure you will find your rhythm here in some time.
