Much celebrated actress Konkana Sen Sharma said in one of her interviews

“I didn’t want to become an actor, nobody ever said it to me or forced me to become one…I was quite a drifter, a dreamer…And spent a lot of time on my own reading, spending hours day-dreaming, and accompanying my mother to film sets…”

Being a drifter and (day) dreamer myself, I always thought qualities were a bane, you are left confused and most of the time always lag in what the world considers achievements. What do you make of them, never knew.

What she made out of these qualities of her, is the world to see, and as is a much-appreciated and celebrated actor and director. Now the obvious reasons/excuses come up in the mind, must have had the free home front which encouraged the loitering and pottering, or must have had an environment where that was considered nothing out of normal doings. The normal blame of conditioning and growing up years.

These qualities makes you exposed you to a lot of new stuff and keep you invigorated in your brain. But can they be considered as achievements? Pondering on!
