Every Friday intend to note down things that were learned or discovered over the week, all to keep myself curious.

Starting with the status of the week: Still there are empty sections, but a rather fulfilling week when I could learn and ponder

Trivia which intrigued

In PR, although it's part of the USA(unincorporated U.S. territory), there is a predominant Spanish influence and I could observe there were urges as Wall art for the co-existence of Spanish and English nationalities. My question still remains Who is actually English, people majorly from England? Or native Americans or Europeans who adapted to English, something to find.

Some words do present themselves in conversations or read text, but I realized I tend not to look them up and understand, out of choice not to burden myself with noting them down, as I wouldn't enjoy using them anyway. So words! I have a tony list of among yours to use and be mine!

P/Vodcasts enjoyed :

Podcast of Film companion with Babil after his big release. It's every endearing to see him, reminds me of Irfan Khan. how a son can be pitting image of his father, gently mulled by his mother's guidance is what I could observe of this actor. Glad that we have him in the scene. The only thing that touched me is that is he too full of heart to be in this industry. Hope he does not wither off like others who were like him, Sushant for instance, had immense talent but not a brave heart without godfathers which Bollywood seems to thrive on. Hope he finds the right mentors and support and gives us amazing movies, with more modern sensibilities than these gyrating khans! Looking forward to women writing men's roles, which seems to be Babil’s forte!

I was surprised at 25-year-old world views, maybe the circumstances made him such an evolved person. He says that he has to work a lot more to be that light a being and his only aim in life is to love unconditionally. Oh wow! This could be seen from his behavior during the interview the way he was interacting with his auto fellow and a passerby, he seemed to be equal to all and to Sneha the interviewer. Wow, what a way to be at 25 too.
another point he made was that he does not like putting masks to protect his heart as he rightly says if he has to act in life then what can he contribute to his art of acting? Very instinctive and truthful and well in tune with his duality and balancing out very well.

The best was his reference that: He working for the employer Babil Khan.

This was something that SRK had referred to at one point as well

“I’m an employee of the myth of Shah Rukh Khan. So I work for that myth. It’s a myth. For me also, it’s mythological. ‘Why are these people standing here while I’m waving?’

It’s awkward for me to blow flying kisses. I’m a very shy person. It’s awkward. Actually, so is Gauri. We are very shy, quiet kind of people. So to do this, and have over-the-top actions and all. It’s like Freddie Mercury did it. It’s difficult for me to do it. But I have to do it as the employee of this myth.” — Huffington Post — India

Maybe there is something for all of us to learn from that too. Since it is over the top expectations to be something, you disconnect yourself from it and consider yourself as a feeder to this great opportunity to your best effort. That could be making it easier to disconnect from it and attach to it to the point of doing the best for it.

Another fascinating one that I encountered was of the trans activist, doctor, and Actor, Trinetra of Made in Heaven fame :

Her journey as someone stuck in a body that does not map to what his mind says was amazing to know of. But the poise with which she handles it and well-intended growth through struggle can be sensed in her. Wow, what a journey! Most of us can't even relate to it, The only thing we can do is not to do the next jibe when we see someone with an LGBTQ vibe with me. We would never know what is that person's story of fighting the binaries that we are so attuned to and we don't have a battle to confirm to too. She attributes her state to being a free one, which is an immense sense of independence that she would only be able to fathom and was a learning experience for me as we ourselves box sometimes, and some of others fight to get out of the box like these.
“When you are not raised in love, you lick love off a knife” — she refers to relationships she had after transforming as such. We all learn to experiment with Love, such a mature take on it by a person who has all the more complexities to navigate about these feelings. As she rightly says the ones who give attention to her are more like the secondary relation to the primary which he might already have.
