An initiative by Pranav, our son to crowdfund education of kids of folks who cannot afford quality education at a cost and who cannot afford to save up money for the same. This program helps them to start saving in a systematic fashion for a single purpose of school education. This program is also about empowerment. A classic example is our present client Venilla, working as a cook and caretaker. How much ever she tries she digs into her savings as she is separated from her husband and she provides for herself and her 2 daughters. So it’s unreal to think that she would be able to save up from her monthly income. Here @hundred4future is the best solution as a certain fund just doesn’t get to her hands, it goes directly to this fund from her employer, which is me.

I see a different Venilla when she wants to discuss her kid's education fund now. In the past years she used to be worried for funds end of the year to now she comes and asks for the funds which are in her kitty and the relief she has is that the difference which she needs to fill in is meagre and she knows she can arrange that with this secretly/ not so secretly stowed away funds for education.

It’s not that she sometimes comes and requests from this kitty, but we are locked and don’t release it unless it is to school fees for her beautiful daughters’ education.

So it’s a huge change for her … But a self-assuring one. I see her grow to be a confident mother who has the strength to ward against her drunkard husband and live for herself and her lovely daughters.
